About the Speaker:
Dr. Ruppal Walia Sharma is an Associate Professor in the Marketing discipline at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. She has a work experience of 22 years, of which she spent close to eight years in the corporate sector and the rest in academics. Dr. Sharma has designed and conducted various Management Development Programmes for middle to senior level managers in large Indian and Multinational companies. She has also conducted sessions on brand building for MSMEs. In addition she undertakes consultancy assignments for industry and has served on the advisory board of The Shop for Change Company which was set up to promote Fair Trade in India. Recently she has been providing her expertise to start ups to help them develop their branding and marketing strategies. Her research and publications are largely in the area of Brand Management.
